Patented QuikLeg 90™ eliminates the traditional tee-plug method that requires added material cost and labor for welding a bar stock plug to a standard tee fitting and then butt-welding a dummy pipe support. Besides the additional cost, this method also eliminates the chance of leakage by deleting the pressure containing fillet weld between the bar stock plug and the standard tee fitting. Also eliminated is the possibility of cross contamination due to residual liquids trapped in the fitting even after the system is flushed.
